Moreover, the Department of Justice has taken steps to address the issue of Internet gambling. It has also announced that it will enforce the Federal Wire Act, which applies to all forms of Internet gambling.
Despite these moves, there are still major issues that have to be resolved. Among them, the Department of Justice has sued the founders of three large online poker companies, claiming that they have committed money laundering, bank fraud, and other crimes.
